THQ and Volition Set To Bring Summoner 2 To Playstation 2
August 2002 (Newstream) -- THQ® Inc. (NASDAQ NMS: THQI) on August 28 announced that development on its highly anticipated action, role-playing title, Summoner® 2 for the PlayStation® 2 computer entertainment system is complete. Summoner 2, the sequel to one of the top-selling PlayStation 2 launch titles, Summoner, is scheduled to ship on September 13. Developed by THQ's studio, Volition®, creators of Red Faction®, Summoner 2 features an enhanced game engine, stunning graphics, an intense real-time combat system and a compelling storyline.
